Ron (oldest son) with puppy Scooter August 1994
Ron bought Scooter to rain as a duck dog.At 6 months old Scooter was retrieving ducks. He was a great duck dog! At 4 he was diagnosed iwth thyroid, then hip problems. Ron considered not taking him hunting anymore, but he would 'dance' to go. Vet said take him as long as he wanted to go. He died of a heart attack the August after turning 5. |

Scooter February 1998. He adored Ron!
I loved Scooter as much as if he was my dog! We always say "all dogs belong to all of us."

Big Boy Buck October 1999
Ninety-Nine pounds of muscle.
One of his most beautiful features would keep hiim from the showring: Silver on his back feet. I did register him as Sandy's Double Eagle.
I love this picture of him standing in the sycamore leaves. |

My baby Boots May 1986. Isn't that a sweet face?
Never messed in the house! First day he squatted but I picked him up and took him outside. Then a couple of hours later he went to the door and whined!
I always said I didn't have to housebreak him, he did it himself.

Boots March 1988
Boot is his glorous yourth.
A woman I knew who showed dogs thought i should show him. She put hiim thru his paces and said his gait and movement was fantastic!
But I wasn't interested, I just wanted my pal. |

My 'old man Boots' October 1995
AKC name "Sir Lancelot's Irish Pride."
To us he was "Boots" when he was handed to me the first thing I noticed was 'feet like combat boot.'
It was hard to send hiim to Heaven, but was the right thing to do.

March 2001: Me and 26" Sheepshead - a keeper for my dogs.
A sheepshead has teeth that does look like sheeps tetth. They snaw barnacles off the rocks or anything else barnacles grow on.
I catch my bait, catch fish, clean fish, cook fish for my hubby or dogs (or both). But rarely eat it. |
